KAT CORBETT

DJ, Radio Host, Writer

Kat Corbett is a radio personality on SiriusXM and KROQ in Los Angeles, and she’s seen it all. Live shows, artist interviews, late nights and music festivals. Her long running Locals Only show helped launch the careers of Billie Eilish, Silversun Pickups, Fitz and The Tantrums, Young the Giant, GroupLove, Wallows, Cold War Kids, Local Natives and more. Wanting to use her platform for more than musical endeavors, Kat formed KROQ to the Rescue, a program highlighting various animal rescue organizations in Southern California. In 2019 Kat was chosen as one of LA Weekly’s “People of the Year.”

Through radio, Kat perfected the art of copyrighting; landing longtime clients such as Mercedes Benz and Tito’s Vodka. Eventually, Kat turned to screenwriting and earned finalist positions at the Nicholl Academy Fellowship, PAGE International, and Final Draft competitions as well as Second Rounder status at Austin Film Festival.

Raised in Boston, Kat managed to lose her thick accent to become a successful voice-over artist including the voice of the last four FIFA World Cups on Fox. Currently, she plays "Sortilège" the narrator for the INHERENT VICE podcast, Increment Vice.

Kat resides in Los Angeles where most days she’s just hoping to score space on the couch between three sleeping dogs.
